Setting up Anti-DDoS rules from the panel

Every Game Server and VPS of ours is automatically protected by advanced inline protection. The protection automatically detects and filters volumetric attacks (L3 and L4) using permanent filtration. However, you, as a user, also have extensive options for custom configuration from our client administration.

How it works

Our filtration uses several layers of inspection and packet analysis at the edge of our network, long before an attack even hits your server's hardware. You have a full overview of incoming traffic statistics at your disposal.

Customizing profiles (Game Firewall)

From our client zone, you can create application filters tailored to a specific game:

• In the administration, click on your server and select the Firewall / Anti-DDoS tab.
• Choose 'Create a new profile'.
• Select the port you want to protect (e.g., 25565 for Minecraft or 27015 for CS2).
• Select the Game Profile: Filters in our network will begin passing only legitimate network connections for the given game packet by packet, and automatically block the rest without affecting player latency.

Rules and exceptions (White/Blacklisting)

Aside from automatic game profiles, you can also set your own strict rules:

• Geoblocking: If you are facing a distributed attack from Asia, simply block the given country at the edge of our network with a few clicks.
• Blacklist: Permanently block a specific IP or IP range (subnet).
• Whitelist: Ensure that your developers with fixed IPs will always connect to the server, even during a massive attack to which the automation would react.
